iPB Printing to open production facility in Charlotte area, USA

 

Reusel, The Netherlands, September 16, 2026 - iPB Printing will open a production facility in the Charlotte area, North Carolina. Production in the United States will begin in mid-2027. The new plant will serve customers throughout the Americas and marks the first step in iPB’s global production expansion.

For more than 25 years, iPB Printing has been producing in-mould labels for food packaging, reusable products and durable applications. The knowledge and experience gained in Europe will be used to establish a reliable, high-quality production operation in the United States.

The Charlotte area was selected because of the region’s strong economic growth and its strategic, central location, offering excellent connections to important markets.

“Establishing our own production facility in the United States is an important milestone for iPB Printing”, says CEO Ton Lavrijsen. “We have built a strong foundation in Europe, and this expansion allows us to take the next step in our international growth. We will bring the same commitment to quality, innovation and long-term partnerships to the US market.”

The new US facility will enable iPB to grow its local customer base across the Americas, with a strong focus on high service levels, consistent quality and security of supply.

iPB Printing has appointed Max Uyttebrouck to lead the international expansion. He has extensive experience in setting up and equipping IML production facilities. Together with the Dutch team and future local employees, he will oversee the development and successful launch of the US operation.
